Each August, Rotary celebrates Membership and New Club Development Month. This is a wonderful opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our dedicated members. This month, we honor the significant difference that members have made and will continue to make as we move forward. Together, let’s work to grow Rotary and Create Lasting Impact!

Interesting Speakers Help Bring New Members to Rotary!
Have you heard an engaging speaker lately, someone who has an interesting (even exciting!) story to tell or unusual experience to relate? If so, let our
Program Chair, Jayme Blackburn, jayme_blackburn@nols.edu know so we can get them scheduled. Surveys have shown that interesting speakers attract established as well as new members to our weekly meetings.
Bring Your Boots and Shoes for Riverton Rotary
Bring your gently used boots and shoes to our August meetings for the Riverton Rotary Club's "Scoot those old Boots" shoe drive. We have a very large plastic tub to collect them. The drive helps Riverton Rotary earn money for its community projects, scholarships, and more.
Exchange Students Are Moving to New Homes!
It’s Youth Exchange (YE) time! There has been uncertainty in obtaining his visa, but Camille Dall’Acqua, a student from Vichy, France, is expected to set down at the airport in Riverton Wednesday evening, August 19, to begin his year as our club’s YE student. And Lander student Sy Wilzbacher, son of Rotarian Jeremy Wilzbacher and his wife, Sarah, has been in Saò Paulo, Brazil, for the last three weeks. He’s already involved with the soccer team and is fast learning Portuguese. Joe Quiroz is our club’s Youth Exchange Officer and Mike Lilygren is our Youth Exchange Counselor. Contact them if you want to get involved in the Youth Exchange program – it’s a great gig!!
